You know, I wondered about this when I ordered - but I just didn't see anything in the MSDN package license that stated it this way in the package I received. I had already been a MSDN Universal subscriber prior to this, and the license within the MSDN pack looked the same to me. I might be wrong, but it looked that way to me. If I am wrong, I will deal with it when it expires (which means I will order the full MSDN package, whatever).

However, the pricing to me still looks better to me this way. I ordered now for $375, then $375 in the following year. At that point I have $750 (plus S&H and Tax) for two full years (until Nov. 2006).

Then, in the third year I can get a regular one if required (although I just didn't read it that way - but I will follow the rules).
