Well, a record set could be just a single record, so I assume that you refer to navigational approaches to data akin to ISAM type databases. Where you have VFP sites that are converting to SQL server at the back end, then it is sometimes hard to tell users that they can not have a grid full of data incrementally searched against open tables over the network <s>. However, if the site in question already uses SQL server, then presumably, they are used to getting their data via queries anyway
