This is also nonsense. VFP contains several hundred commands and functions.
The samples are composed of "applets", little things that simply illustrate a few things each. Unfortunately, we aren't writing little "applets" when we develop applications. The sample application that ships with VFP, TasTrade, is a pathetic example, possibly the worst example of class design, OOP, and architecture that one could imagine.
To say that the VFP samples are a sufficient set of examples to get someone profitably developing is wrong. The proof of that is the framework mini-industry that has emerged to correct the problem.
