Exactly right. I have absolutely no desire to try to force writers to adopt a "standard" naming convention -- it's simply a lose-lose situation and a waste of precious time and resources. Those who choose to use the sample code provided by the authors can "clean it up" all they want to match their own preferences, because no matter what our standard might be, half the readers wouldn't like it anyway. :-)
