This will sound like a trivial matter, but it shows I am trying to do my little bit...
2 months ago I bought some 'personal' garments that came in a package of 3. They were made in Canada and were priced about $.50 extra per unit. But they were also pre-shrunk, 100% cotton and, when I opened the package at home, very well made as far as detailing/stitching/overall quality was concerned.

2 weeks later I was inthe same store so I picked up another package. Last week I opened that package (appeared identical in every detail) and immediately felt a difference. I looked closely, and also grabbed a unit from the otiginal purchase. There were several quality differences between the 2, starting at the waistband and ending at the 'finish'. lousier cotton, poor stitching (fewer, more spaced, etc. Looked closely at the package and the finest print said "Made in India".

It was so bad that I wrote a letter to the store and I accused them of "bait and switch". Same package and same price but far different product inside!
cheers
