Sorry for the confusion. When VFP 8 came out, we still had a large number of users on our DOS program and they were slowly migrating over. Many of them had Win95 machines and we did not want to place any further barriers to their coming to the Windows version of the program. Now we have very few Win95 users, but many Win98 users so I am concerned that Win98 be able to run the program when we move to VFP9.
