Understood that it didn't work -- it just didn't throw an error. The problem is that the index is on literally thousands of tables that are in stored in ZIP files an programatically extracted as necessary. The ZIP files can be anywhere. We have to create a routine to check for the TAG now using TAGNO and programatically delete it. Since the ZIP files are rarely updated, this will happen every time the tables are extracted. Ick.
