>When we make shortcuts to VFP prg's on Windows XP and then edit the program from the shortcut in Windows 2K our PRG's get deleted, has anyone come across this bug and know what the fix is? Also the shortcuts made in XP do not show their full paths in 2K? They use ~ and a shortened file name convention for some reason. Thanks in advance for you help.

Todd,

I'm not sure what's going on here. You say that the shortcuts are created in XP. However, you then say that they're launched from 2K. This seems to indicate that the shortcuts are on a server being accessed by both platform's. Is this correct? And, if so, why are shortcuts being used?
