OK...Since I consider myself a real skier...
You can't ski in that. The lifts aren't open and blizzard conditions make visibilty impossible...don't want to do a Sonny Bono.
AFTER the winds and snow is when to hit the slopes!
We're getting our snow here in the Wasatch. In fact, we have the best ski conditions in over 20 years...probably more now, since I heard this statistic in early December.
Anyway, this past weekend the skiing was great! It's hard to get better than looking down a bowl with nothing but fresh, untouched powder in front of you.
>Last night’s weather news was great for Skier’s! In parts of the “Sierra’s we have had 19 feet of snow fall since December 28, with up to another five feet predicted to fall today.
>
>Also, winds of over 100 mph closed down hi-ways 50 and 80 over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. An official peak reading of 163 mph was recorded at Squaw Peak, California.

>I know that “real skier’s” will rush out to enjoy these wonderful ski conditions! :)
