You must be kidding me.

You are complaining that because VFP is not listed in an image of a magazine article written by a non MSFT employee. Come on!

The list of databases not included is pretty vast: Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Firebird and yes VFP.

This is exactly what ken was talking about in his post earlier in the week. Whining about stuff like this is counter productive.

Do you want to have VFP be mentioned in an article? Then write one! You will find that it is difficult to sell an article to a non-vfp publication where VFP is the focus of the article. Why is that? Simple... Editors (like myself) gather articles that are relevent to the broadest group of their readers. Does VFP meet this criteria ?

To be clear here. I am editor of CoDe and we did do a VFP 9 focus issue. We also published an article from Les Pinter where he uses VFP in the context of a larger article on localization. Will I ever run a VFP only article in CoDe. Not likely. Would I entertain an article with VFP content in it? absolutely. There are places where VFP and .NET interop are relevant to a number of people. I would probably want VB interop too.

On another note... Did you send dino an e-mail about his utter lack of respect for VFP. I would love to see the response to that one.
