Hey, can I call you Dennis, Rodman? <grin>
If you want a good article on codepages and international sorting you could ask for a reprint of the chapter I wrote for Steven Black´s ´Inside FPW 2.5´ book in ´93. (Just to note: I don´t mean this in earnest.) The whole international / cross-platform stuff in VFP is still based on wOOdy´s and my initiative and knowledge we gave to Jim Simpkins and Richard Don´tRemember then.

Dunno if Markus Egger knew much of FoxPro when we met in Munich at that time. Sorrily I dropped out after this mostly - as programming is not my primary job, but I followed the story closely. So don´t call me a whiner.

I bet Dino Esposito didn´t draw the figure, but it´s marketing material for ASP.Net 2 and the negligence of VFP in the own house is a real embarrassment. In some instances every single opportunity for a plug for a product is taken, but not so with VFP.

Hope this didn´t sound too flamy.
Cheers
G
