I am sorry, but I really don't remember the details, and I don't have Perforce installed right now. I only remember that I managed to make it work, eventually.

There is one problem, in general, with scctext.prg. This will affect all source control software. If you do a slight change, the entire text will change, in the sense that the order of the methods is changed. This makes it difficult to compare differences in the text version.

Note that this is a taks which Visual FoxPro takes over, not your version control software. scctext.prg is invoked automatically whenever you check in a form, class, etc., IIRC.

Somebody created a modified version of scctext.prg, which sorts the methods before creating the text file. I don't know where to find it right now; perhaps you can search. Perhaps in the download section.

Note that this recommendation is not dependent on your using Perforce - you will have the same problem with any version control software.

Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
