Hello guys!
I still don't know when can I use PRIMARY KEY, I would like to make a permanent relation in DATABASE using the phone number, for example:
I have two files:
Customer......................................Status
name,homephone..............................homephone,status,date
A 201---------------------------------------201 0 1-1-98
--------------------------------------------201 2 1-10-98
--------------------------------------------201 1 1-16-98
B 203---------------------------------------203 1 2-10-98
C 205---------------------------------------205 1 2-10-98
D 112---------------------------------------112 0 2-16-98

when I try to create the index on STATUS file, VFP says uniques of index on PHONES is violated. That means that I can't create a permanent relation?
How I can do the permanent relation?

thank for advance,

Gerardo
