I have a Crystal Reports Ver. 10 with one Detail Section and one Group Section.

The Detail Section has formulas in it. For each Formula, I created a Summary in the Group Section. That leaves the formula in the Detail Section with say Hours A = 5.75 and Hours B = 6.50 and in the Group Section with Hours A = 5.75 and Hours B = 6.50. This is exactly what I wanted because this way I can place the Hours A and Hours B wherever I want in the Group Section.

Here's what I need to know...

How do I add Group Summary for Hours A = 5.75 to Group Summary for Hours B = 6.50? Then, I am only going to show Hours = 12.25 and suppress the other Hours A and Hours B Summaries.

I am thinking I will have to convert the strings to numbers first to add them. Right now, it only concatenates the two strings. Your thoughts?

Thanks ahead of time.
