I've been working with VFP 6, 8 and now 9. They all have just 3 text spacing options: 1, 1.5 or 2 line spacing. Unfortunately though, as you've discovered, those options ignore font size. I'm guessing it's based on 6 lines per inch, but that's just a guess. So your small font really makes the lines look ridiculously far apart.

In a few cases where I needed to get the lines tighter and where I knew the maximum number of possible lines, I split up the long text string into separate lines and used a different report expression box to print each line, with the option checked to not print if that line was empty.

I wonder is there is a request on record to adjust the line spacing to match the font size?
