I use forms as classe. In my base form class I added the code needed for
instantiating DEs and a couple of properties (actually I added more than a couple but 2 are used for DEs) one holds the name of the DE to instantiate and one will hold the DE once it instantiated
and yes the instantiation is done in the load event
