I did read a lot of it. Both Old and New Testaments. I do know most of the history (studying History is one of my primary hobbies).
And I stand by my comments. Unfortunately it is a very violent book with a lot of misconceptions and misunderstandings due to the times when it was written. And way too many people, all along history including nowadays, try to live by it literally.
