Thanks, Fred, but I just searched my hard drive for FoxUser.dbf, and there's just one, in the VFP9 folder. (I un-installed VFP7 first and then installed VFP9.) So that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Do you think I should just delete Foxuser.* off these workstations? I've not given foxuser.dbf a thought in years, but I think I remember that it gets recreated if it's not found -- do you know if that's still true?
