I need to rewrite a utility that deletes the current contacts in a public folder in Exchange 2003 and rebuilds them with data from a SQL DB. The client would prefer that a remote machine handle this task without using Outlook components.
Unfortunately I can't seem to find any information on how to do this. At first, I thought there might be a COM library available, and there is, but it is restricted to working ON the Exchange server itself (see
http://www.issociate.de/board/post/40928/CDOEXM_-_Error_adding_assembly.html). Is there no other way to do something like this in .Net?
