I made an app. around 15 years ago in Clipper. A Couple of years ago they contacted me for a complete revision of it because of many changes in that industry.

When I told them that I would have to do a complete analysis, explaining that they would have to be available... they decided to postpone it.

A bit after that I learned that they still used that app. The boss told me that his nephew would do the new version. I guess that some of this decision was based on two things:

1. Saving money by having his nephew develop it.
2. Wish that his nephew would be able to do it really fast. That is without analysis. You know some kind of miracle.

But to conclude I would'nt be surprised that they still use the clipper app today.

I guess that my experience looks the same as many went through over here.
