Sorry for not replying sooner guys, I think you may all be on a later version of fox than me, I'm on 6 sp 5 and there is no tools/options/editor tab, the closest is the syntax colouring tab. The options I describe are those in the right click on ediror window/ properties as you state, I turn off drag and drop because the right mouse clicking is sensitive to one pixel movement ie- it drags text selections when I dont want it to,
and set line/col numbering for debug reasons.

setting them is fine and it works for the session but there is no way to save those settings as default, once fox has been closed and reopened it's back to annoying mode. idealy I'd like to be able to have a nice editor like jedit replace the fox one but at very least getting these defaults set would be good.
