Ken

Have you got your resource file on? I can't see why your options would be cleared next time. My r-click the editor window - properties - drag & drop stays as I have set it. I'm on V7. Is there no "Save preferences" check box in v6 on the prop's sheet for the editor?

Terry

>Sorry for not replying sooner guys, I think you may all be on a later version of fox than me, I'm on 6 sp 5 and there is no tools/options/editor tab, the closest is the syntax colouring tab. The options I describe are those in the right click on ediror window/ properties as you state, I turn off drag and drop because the right mouse clicking is sensitive to one pixel movement ie- it drags text selections when I dont want it to,
