Thanks for the information/confirmation on VSS, and the link to an improved version of SccText.
I've seen the problem with the methods placement in the memo changing from time to time - I had started to write a utiility to compare versions and it's a relatively routine effort to detect changes. What prompted me to look at VSS was to deal with the more challenging difference checking issues.
You probably already know this, but will pass it on anyway - It's how VFP stores the methods in the memo file that creates the "method order" challenge - VFP doesn't preserve the order in the Methods memo field.
