Ones politics can be very complex. Being a Democrat and Roman Catholic is an interesting combination. For me more important then being a Democrat is being a Roman Catholic. My views on certain matters do not tow the party line but for the most part I am at ease with the dictates of my Church.

I do believe in helping others in need and helping them to help themselves. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity, and will defend others. I am prejudice towards those who hate others because of race, religion and other such reasons. That is a difficult statement to make or understand fully and one that truly requires clarification.

It would be great if we could address each other by our names and not use labels. Giving titles to groups of people is an easy way to dismiss them for whatever reason. Them and us!

They have no waiting list. For those not in prison and unable to afford aspirin for a headache, too bad!
