Very good friends of mine are RC, and they are often at odds with themselves over thier personal opinions vs the church's. They always go with the church, but they say it isn't always easy. Add into that political party affiliations and liberal vs conservative, and I'm not sure how you guys are even able to dress yourselves in the morning. :-D

>Ones politics can be very complex. Being a Democrat and Roman Catholic is an interesting combination. For me more important then being a Democrat is being a Roman Catholic. My views on certain matters do not tow the party line but for the most part I am at ease with the dictates of my Church.
