If you are using VFP 3.0 it is useful.
Tom wrote another pretty good article about VFP 5.0 and its client server capabilities. Again just search through DBMS onine and you should find it.
Basically remote views are lousy in either 5.0 or 3.0 ...
All the data from the query of the view has to be loaded onto the client ...
(unless i am missing something here ?)
