I have a phone highspeed connection with an external modem and I keep loosing the connection. Actually, I'm still technically connected, because my connection icon in the taskpane is still there and my modem lights are all green, but I can't get any response fro any server. My MSN Messenger will also disconnect.

At that point, if I try to close the connection and try to login again, it will refuse to login. The only way I can get back my connection is to close the modem and switch it back on. Then I will be able to reconnect when the modem has finished it's initialisation. Only to loose it again in a couple of minutes...

Configuration:
- DSL highspeed connection
- External modem
- Windows XP SP 2

Any ideas?
