The only thing I've ever thought of when hearing about a Vegemite sandwhich is Men at Work. In fact, other than in this thread, it may be the only time I've ever heard it referenced. And here I thought I was somewhat worldly.

>Yes I did. A sad event, but I thought it was much more recently than 1935 (possibly around 1985), at least I do remember it and I'm not that old! Perhaps it was partially owned in 1935 by the "Kraft-Walker" company. Kraft is a big brand in Australia of course.
