Hi Terry :)
When I was kid back in 70s we believed
among the other things, that cars will be flying after year 2000
or at least look somewhere close to small space ship :)
>We won't key a plastic keyboard on an office max desk inside an office max cube , or answer a lucent phone. Every thing will be virtual. The keyboard the phone the desk the cube. At first it will be high resolution wide screen gogles, proprioceptive gloves (maybe even digital feet to scoot the trash bucket) and a head set (with optional "smell" and "physics" engine) -
eventually it will all be jacked directly to the noodle.
Yeah, and there will be also RESTRICTED AREA, DANGER ZONE
very special room with very special computer, running very special program
of vital importance. Pentium5 on 7.9 MHZ running historic version of Windows
LAST one supporting DOS and - 'Company' FPD2.6 customised accounting,
running all the way back from 1992.

>In fact - in the future - wealth could be measured by the "luxury" level of the virtual reality licenses we acquire!
