Probably because VFP/VB6 is not seen as "strategic" to MS plans for world domination! That's great, but it doesn't really address the large installed base of applications and users of an existing language like VB6 or VFP. I think MS has sort of an ego problem where they think they can simply manipulate developers into a certain way of thinking. Some develoeprs actually fall for it!
>I had personal contacts with Foxsoftware Inc. before MS (FOX since 1984). Lets count peoples worked then with in INC. / end users / developers using FOX. Even then MS was more than willing to buy the whole company with BIG money and I don't think that there is much of deficit of Fox peoples. On the contrary I believe. So why such of change of course from MS???

>>You must be kidding though. Do you really beleive that all the noise is going to make a difference? Do you think that other than a small pocket of people in the Foxpro team and perhaps in an obscure room in the accounts receivable department, that things won't naturally progress along the trend line that they have been for 8 years?................
