>CA with OLEDB or ODBC. RVs sound to be a beginner's choice to me. When it's RV/SPT there are things which you can do with one but not with the other. CA and XMLAdapters make it easier to deal with those. Has better support for select,insert,update, delete (direct or stored procs) etc. But I've never been strict on what to use. I use one or the other as I see fit.
