I have a report with a OLE object which is bound to path which stored in a cursor. The field type is set to general. therefore everytime I run my program it will create a cursor with the path to the picture and then run the report. the problem I have is that I use the APPEND GENERAL command to create the field but I do not want to hardcode the path to the picture as this can change. My path is stored to a variable

Is it possible to APPEND GENERAL myfield FROM myvariable

where the variable is my path to my picture which can change. Obviously I have tried this and does not work. Can I do this differently.
