We have been given access to a SQL Server database recently. Our DBAs have set me up with owner rights to the database. However, I have been unable to create tables in our SQL Server database. I can read and write to the database but I can't create tables.

I do not have the SQL Server Enterprise manager installed on my PC but I do have VFP and .Net installed. I have been using MSDE for awhile and managed to use the .Net Server Explorer to create and manage my MSDE database and tables. But the 'New Table' option does not even display in .Net Server Explorer for this SQL Server database.

The DBAs tell me that I should be able to create and manage my database with .Net or VFP and the tell me that I have the proper permissions. What can I do on my end to be able to manage my SQL Server database? Or is it something on the DBA's end that needs correcting?

Thanks,

Jerry
