Microsoft SQL Server
Hi Jerry,
It certainly sounds like permissions to me. Are you using a SQL Login or Windows Authentication?
Maybe try something like this to return your permisions in VFP.
* change the connection string ad required
wConnect = "driver=SQL Server;server=isc0034;uid=JON;pwd=Jon;Database=PPWin2;app=;Encrypt=;"
w_tmp=SQLSTRINGCONNECT(wConnect)
sqlexec(w_tmp,'sp_helpuser','test')
sele test
brow
This should show a list of users and the permisions against the database.
Hope this may help you a bit.

I have been using MSDE for awhile and managed to use the .Net Server Explorer to create and manage my MSDE database and tables. But the 'New Table' option does not even display in .Net Server Explorer for this SQL Server database.
