Remember when VFP8 came out and we all had that long discussion about the clause in the EULA that required, if you bought an upgrade to VFP8, you to delete the previous version from your system? Well, guess what clause has been dramatically changed to make it quite clear that you may now keep previous versions (and no time limit like the 'downgrade' clause used to have).

Maybe these threads really are worthwhile.

>>Not at all. I wanted my reply/analyses of that part of the EULA to be more visible instead of buried in the other thread. I fully expected a big response to the new thread I started. I also wanted to get it out of the Chatter category and into this one because the subject is more important than just chatter.

>I have to disagre with you. I don't think the issue is important at all (well it is a little important). No matter how much we chat about the EULA in here M$ is not going to change it and no matter if you are right or wrong M$ will get you if they really want to (unless you have millions of $ and an army of lawyers).

>Ohh well it is still interesting reading and I do agree that M$ VFP has a crazy EULA (even crazier than the last version)
