I cannot believe what I am seeing, but everything in VFP9 seems to be slower than VFP8 or even the VFP9 Beta!

Just opening up my Project in the IDE takes over 7 seconds in VFP9 (it took less than 3 seconds in VFP8). I can visibly see the items displaying when the project is loading.

My EXE runs slower also and the forms take longer to load. I didn't notice these problems with the VFP9 Beta. I have read about there being a CodePage problem slowing down some character queries, but I think I have everything in CodePage 1252. In any case, why would it affect loading the Project?

Please tell me I am doing something wrong!
