The Fox marketing team might as well be dead and fox is next. We need to stop moaning and stop using M$ products, Fox is great but M$ is doing nothing to attract any new developers or businesses to Fox. We should take a hint and all learn something different.

I evaluated VB thinking believing that it was the future. Turns out I don't even like the language itself (compare the capabilities of DO CASE, for example). Since I can program in FP with my eyes closed, it doesn't make sense for me to change. Even if MS were never to issue a new VFP release, I feel satisfied with FPD 2.6 and VFP 5.0.
But they will continue to upgrade VFP. They just don't want to promote it to new people and that is why they only advertise it in FP magazines. This is a case where MS could not beat a competitor so it chose to buy it and stop promoting it. Maybe it would have done the same with Quicken.
