>No, it works perfectly well. However You need to explicitly add the ".ico" extension otherwise it creates an icon with a ".bmp" extension and most apps are confused by that. In my Explorer I saw the icon just fine.

I did use ico extension, yet the file is not recognized by Windows Explorer.

>Concerning the small and the large icon in the grid. Yes! this is the problem I already wrote in one of my mails. VFP always treats icons as 32x32 icons and if necessary enlarges them. That's Why I normally work with bitmaps.

I think you're right. I tried before with other icon files I have and they all look larger than they are. So, does it mean, what it's impossible to have nice small icons in the grid at all? If so, scratch the second idea too :)

ListView didn't work because it doesn't support themes. <g>

Grid works if we don't add icons to it <g> Or may be we can save icons in bmp format? Then I may need some help from the other old friend of mine <g>

Herman's dll seems to be a winner so far, but let see, if my manager likes it's better than my own custom built interface...

Ok, I think, that it's enough time spent on all these attempts and I can go back to more pressing tasks to do... <g>
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
