Celko presented his opinions as if they were absolutely correct, and anyone that disagreed with him is an idiot. And that - IMHO - is inexcusible behaviour in a presenter.

I read the SQL newsgroups daily - he is brutal up there. What concerns me is any possibility of questions going unasked, even "beginner" questions, for fear of being flamed.
