Exactly. Not only could I not understand him (primarily due to his very heavy accent), but after becoming irritated with me, he accused of me of not being able to speak English myself and he stated that he spoke correct English from England and if I were better educated then I would be able to understand him. He basically insinuated that Americans are uneducated and only speak and understand slang.
