I've only been able to see two of my favorite prog-rock bands live Kansas and The Moody Blues. Kansas, twice, once in 75 on college and once about 8 years ago when they played a small club in Virginia. The Moody Blues played here accompanied by the Austin Symphony.

Tull was here a couple of months ago, but I had to go out of town and couldn't see them. Two years ago Particle played at the ACL Festival and I got a big feeling that it was a lot like seeing Yes or ELP when they were getting started.

Tull is unbelivable in concert. Ian Anderson is HYSTERICAL. I saw him in Hershey PA, and he made some hysterical jokes between songs. What amazed me the most about their concert is that they played Aqualung FIRST.

I'd never heard of Particle - I just listened to some samples on Amazon. Wow! Very different. Someone described it as "ElectroFunk". Sounds interesting, thanks, I think I might keep an eye on them.
