Our's is an Packaged Accounting software. We don't do lot of Custom Projects.

>Your client would not be paying for the time and money you gonna invest on .NET learning and development, they just need their software working at the least cost ( considering Indian Scenario ). You should not be surprised and amazed if the same client says that DOS software was better than your .NET developed software.

With the current situation it would be difficult for your company to decide which framework is better or compare frameworks.

I also think VFP will be faster ( 1st version ). But will I make money out of it in the long run if I have have to restart again in say 4 years. ( not getting developers etc. & others reasons I mentioned in the first post )
