Well, I stumbled upon it simply because I didn't read the docs closely enough. I saw that you could for SORTWORK, etc. and I assumed. In other words I was too stupid to know any better. It wasn't until after I had written a framework that created a batch file (to remove the leftover tmp files) at startup and deleted if the program terminated normally, that I learned that the docs said only drive. Since it was apparent the docs were wrong, everything was fine (at least I'm glad we never went to FPD 2.6, then....).
