I think if one looks for the worst in people we will always find ample evidence to support our bigotry. But if we look for the best in each other then perhaps we can rise above all the crap. We can look at the westerner sub-bathing amongst the ruins or we can look at the (probably) millions of westerners who donated without so much as a second thought.
