He will never be punished for it since he didn't technically break any laws but it was an abuse of power and he should be gone (thank goodness he is).

First, surely you want to rethink "any adult." Is a 19-year-old who approaches a 17-year-old a predator? You might also want to include that it's someone they know to be under 18, since you can't always tell.

Beyond that, there are levels to all this stuff. What he did was reprehensible, but I'd rather reserve predator for the folks who rape and torture or go after children (and a 16-year-old is not a child in this context) or similar things.

Right now, we're having a national witchhunt over this stuff and it's harmful to individuals and to society. We need to find some balance in all this.
