The question was whether I allow it, not whether they do it anyway. First, I should add that it's now moot, because they're 24 and 20 and not living in my house most of the time. I think it is reasonable to expect kids to wait until after high school (18 or so) for sex, and that was the expectation we communicated to our children, but I also think it's incumbent on us to teach our kids what they need to know about protecting themselves from unwanted pregnancy and disease.
