Be a Jesus disciple it doesn't have anything to do with follow a religion.. The human kind has disfigured completely with passing of the years, what is to be Christian..

The fathers at Jesus time was who mostly pursued him.. HE gave them the idea of a God that can eat with anyone.. that can talk with anyone.. that can hug anyone.. That can love even the worst guy.. This is unacceptable for religion stuffs..

Imagine for today a Jesus hugging a homo guy.. Well, George Bush (knowing as christian) would to declare HIM as terrorist.. And instead of cross the punishment would be to live in Cuba..
