The brevity of the thread should convince you that it is NOT viewed as any kind of issue by the huge majority of UT attendees. Because you know how threads can get way way HUGE over the smallest things.

It's a non-issue.
At one time there used to be counts (and lists) of reads of messages and who did so. This was removed after some indicated privacy concerns. I consider needing to inform a twitee a privacy issue too.
