Hi Hans,

As far as CA are concearned I am novice just like you :)
I hv read entire (drammatic!) thread that Naomi sent you, and almost got
afraid to go CA way as I was planning for upcoming CS project.
I don't know if things discussed/discovered there got fixed since 2003.

Just purchased VFP9, so I was planning to explore new ways
doing it other then 'classic' RV/ODBC scenario.

But unless I hear some positive story about CA, I think I am gonna stick with RV's. <g>

Good Luck

>Don't worry; at least it was worth trying. This thread is from 2003 and - I assume - from the CA of VFP 8. Now we have VFP 9 since some time and - as naive as I am - I am assuming that someone might have done some work with SQL 2005 backend and using VFP9's CA, which by the way seems to be a powerful tool, but I am only slowly beginning to comprehend it.

Therefore I have the hope that someone might have done some work on this topic as well in the last two years using VFP 9 and its CAs, who has the knowledge which I need.
