Exactly my point. Let's see Obama play piano with his hands tied !

( besides, we haven't had a piano playing president since Richard Nixon. )

The only job I know she wants is NFL Commissioner and I think a VP run would only be accepted as a command performance. What I'd really like is to see her run against HRC ( Morris even has a book doing the math on that one ).

Obama may actually develop into someone good - right now he's Jack Kennedy without familiy baggage, sex-addiction, or a daddy with OC connection (Hmmm - that actually doesn't sound so bad ). ( does he have a younger brother - maybe I could get excited about him - 1968 redux... ) But i'm afraid he's not really being supported for what he thinks or wants but for what he represents. Joe Biden may have spoken clumsily, but he did understand the phenomenon.

Offer me a Lieberman/Obama ticket and I may think about it. ( correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe we've ever had a first-lady named Hadassah <s> )

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
